Digital Back-end Developer

We are currently looking for a competent back-end web freelance developer to join our exciting and fast moving design and digital agency based in Maidstone, Kent.

The position will cover overspill of work within our studio and holiday periods with the possibility of a future full-time role.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years industry experience as a developer, a degree-level qualification and the following:

Essential requirements:

• Experience in building websites using PHP and classic ASP
• Experience of CMS frameworks
• Experience using MySQL and SQL transaction queries  
• Some experience with JavaScript (jQuery in particular) and XHTML
• Experience in resolving functional and technical support issues
• Be able to use initiative and work with minimal supervision
• Proactive approach, motivated and hard working with a can do attitude
• Good communication and social skills
• A team player but also able to work independently

Ideal requirements:

• Some experience in formulating the User Interface / User Experience

Digital Front-end Developer

• Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to take feedback from team members

• Good communication and social skills
• A team player but also able to work independently

Ideal requirements:

• Competent in using next-generation technology such as HTML5 and CSS3
• Experienced in building responsive stylesheets to cater for mobile devices
• A basic understanding of using PHP and MySQL based content management systems
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Flash

Digital Junior

We are currently looking for a competent full-time digital junior to join our exciting and fast moving design and digital agency based in Maidstone, Kent.

The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification looking to develop their skills within the digital industry.

Scope of role:

• First point of contact for all client digital support issues and client advice on using their CMS
• Client CMS training
• User testing
• Producing interactive PDF media
• Design, build and manage HTML emailers
• Design, build and maintain small websites
• Produce static and animated web banners
• Populating websites

Digital Project Manager

We are currently looking for a competent full-time digital project manager to join our exciting and fast moving design and digital agency based in Maidstone, Kent.

Scope of role:

• Plan and organise projects to support the requirements of our client base. Maintaining relationships to ensure their expectations are managed and fulfilled.
• Attend client meetings with the sales team. Be the first point of contact for the client once the project is initiated and also the main point of contact for feedback, project progress and any other project related information.
• Responsible for scoping projects. This involves communicating with creative and development teams, clients, production and sales to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to specification.
• Managing and communicating milestones for projects with relevant teams. Responsible for ensuring any movement from planned requirements/timescales are identified, communicated and managed to ensure client expectations are fulfilled and budgets are maintained.
• Client CMS and HTML emailer training.
• Various ad hoc projects and reporting as required by management.

Essential requirements:

• Understanding of digital media and content management systems
• Proactive approach, motivated and hard working with a can do attitude
• Good communication and social skills
• Well organised and diligent
• A team player
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve

Experience:

• Previous agency experience
• Recognised project management qualification or suitable experience
