Canterbury Christ Church University Prospectus

"Tangerine won the tender to design our 2009 entry Undergraduate Prospectus in March 2007, beating three other competitors. At the tender stage I was impressed both with the design ideas they presented for the Prospectus and the examples of their previous work.

Also, as production of the Undergraduate Prospectus is something I carry out (largely) alone I have to be confident of the fact that whoever was chosen could work closely with me, and vice versa, and this was an important consideration in the selection process.

As of today (18/2/08) the Prospectus is virtually complete and I am able to look back and reflect upon the work which Tangerine has carried out. I’m confident that this Prospectus will be the best that the University has had and that the elements of overall design, layout, usability and use of photography surpass anything that we have previously produced.

The working relationship I have with the designer (Tim Gazes) has proved very strong and nothing has been too much trouble for him or his colleagues. I have made several trips to the studio during production and have always been made most welcome by everyone I’ve had contact with. This openness and availability, the opportunity to sit beside the designer and discuss/make alterations in real time, is something which I have especially appreciated.

In conclusion, working with Matt Hobbs and his team at Tangerine on this Prospectus has been a very satisfying experience. I’m already looking forward to working with them on other projects and I have no hesitation in recommending their services to you."
